Meet Mitch
Mitch Feininger – Owner of Feininger Electric
Mitch Feininger is a dedicated and experienced master electrician with a passion for delivering high-quality electrical solutions. A proud graduate of Trinity High School (Class of 1992), Mitch went on to earn an Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Electrical Technology from North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Dickinson State University (DSU).
Mitch’s career spans decades of hands-on experience and leadership in the electrical industry. After starting his career with Feininger Electric—originally founded in 1961 by his Grandfather, _____—he gained valuable experience working with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) in Duluth, MN, from 1998 to 2003. He then served as a Maintenance Electrician for Anheuser-Busch from 2003 to 2005 before joining the North Dakota State Electrical Board as a State Electrical Inspector from 2005 to 2016.
Throughout his career, Mitch has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and community involvement. He was appointed to NEC Code Making Panel 14 for the 2017 National Electrical Code and received the Distinguished Service Award from the International Association of Electrical Inspectors in 2017. Additionally, he serves as a member of the RACTC Electrical Technology Advisory Committee.
As a Master Electrician licensed in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana, Mitch leads Feininger Electric with integrity, expertise, and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
